Bet on the NBAWith five games left, the Indiana Pacers are looking to potentially clinch the third seed in the Eastern Conference.
The 39-22 Pacers have reached a three game lead over three different teams. The Pacers will be head to Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center to play against the 31-29 Philadelphia 76ers. The 76ers are in eighth in the conference and are only two games ahead of the first team out of it.
The season series between these two teams has been split so far. Philadelphia on in January 96-86 while Indiana won 111-94 in March. The home team was the winning team in both of those games.
Darren Collison will not be playing for the Pacers tonight. Collison had returned during yesterday's win over Minnesota after missing four games with a groin injury. However, he re-aggravated that injury during the game and has since gone out. He has been leading the Pacers with 4.9 assists per game.
The Philadelphia 76ers has six games remaining on their schedule. However, they have been 2-6 in April.
A peculiar point about the 76ers is that the team's leading scorer has not even started a game this year. Lou Williams has not been listed as a starter in sixty games this year but he is still getting 15 points per game in 26.1 minutes on average. Williams is also making about 81% of his free throws, making him one of the team's most proficient shooters from the line. Thaddeus Young has also been getting a good amount of work off the bench with 12.7 points per game while playing in close to thirty minutes a game.
Indiana has a small NBA betting advantage in this game. Indiana has a -3 favorite line to it. There is also a 184.5 over/under listed for the game. The two teams will be competing hard with playoff seeds and spots on the line.
