NBA Playoffs game 4 action will take place Sunday with an attractive NBA betting matchup of the Trailblazers and Rockets. NBA Playoffs fans saw the two teams split the first two games of the series at Portland with Houston cashing in both times against the NBA betting number.
Houston stunned NBA Playoffs fans in game 1 with a 108-81 blowout win and cover as 5-point NBA betting dogs with the game going over the total of 182. Yao Ming had 24 points and 9 rebounds and Aaron Brooks scored 27 to lead the Rockets in their NBA Playoffs victory.
After being embarrassed at home in that first game the Trailblazers knew that they had to win game 2 of the NBA Playoffs or head to Houston in a serious hole. Portland managed to win the game 107-103 but failed to cover as 6-point chalks against the line. The game went over the total of 183. Portland's Brandon Roy had one of the best performances seen from anyone so far in the NBA Playoffs as he scored 42 points.
The Houston Rockets have been treating gamblers well recently as including both their regular season and NBA Playoffs results since April 5 they are 6-2 against the spread. Houston has also gone over the total in 7 out of their last 11 games.
The Rockets strength entering the NBA Playoffs is their defense which ranked 7th best in the league. Their offense is more suspect as it ranked 17th. Portland is a slightly higher ranked version of the Rockets as they ranked 14th overall on offense but an impressive 4th overall on defense. This makes for one of the most even series in the opening round of the NBA Playoffs.
Before the post season began Portland resembled an ATM machine as they got the cash in 14 of their final 17 regular season games. Roy is definitely the key to the Portland attack as he led the Blazers in scoring for the season with an average of 22.6-points per game.
