NBA betting fans have their choice of LeBron James and Cleveland or Dwyane Wade and Miami to bet on eastern conference basketball action with. The Cleveland Cavaliers have been one of the most profitable teams in all of NBA betting this season.
Cleveland has been playing at a pace that seemed unsustainable and just went on another winning streak for those who bet on basketball with them. From February 11 through February 26 the Cavaliers scored NBA betting covers in 5 out of 6 games.
Cleveland had an overall NBA betting record of 44-12 straight up and a phenomenal 37-17 against the spread. The Cavaliers were not as strong of a NBA betting value on the road, however, as they had a mark of just 16-13 against the spread.
James has proven himself to be a major NBA betting asset as he led the Cavaliers in scoring with an average of 28.3 points per game. He also led Cleveland in assists with 7.0 per game and even led in rebounds and steals! The Miami Heat had an overall NBA betting record of 30-26 straight up but were just 26-28-2 against the spread.
Miami has not come through for those who bet on basketball with them lately as they beat the NBA betting odds in just 3 out of 8 games from February 7 through February 24. Wade, like James, has been a vital NBA betting asset as he led the Heat in scoring with an average of 28.8 points per game.
He also led in assists with 7.3 per game. Miami was not a strong NBA betting commodity at home as they covered just 13 out of 29 games as a host. The Heat did defeat the Cavaliers 104-95 on December 30 as 5.5-point home dogs as the game went over the total of 183. James had 38 points for Cleveland while Wade had 21 for the Heat.
