NBA betting odds will include a high over/under number as these are two of the best offensive teams in all of basketball betting. The Indiana Pacers have not had a good season and have operated at or near the bottom on the central division for most of the year.
That has not prevented them, however, from having success against the NBA betting odds. Indiana had an overall basketball betting record of 23-34 straight up but was 30-25-2 against the NBA betting odds.
The Pacers were a strong “over” team against the NBA betting odds as they were 34-22-1 over the total for the season, including a mark of 18-12 over the number on the road. The Pacers were also a profitable dog against the NBA betting odds as they had a record of 20-14-2 against the spread when getting points.
Indiana ranked a strong 5th overall in the NBA for offense but ranked just 27th overall on defense. Danny Granger was a major asset against the NBA betting odds for Indiana as he was averaging 25 points per game. Troy Murphy was also impressive with 11.5 rebounds per game.
The New York Knicks have had good recent success against the NBA betting odds. Much like the Pacers the Knicks have operated near the bottom of their division, (Atlantic), standings but have been a solid basketball betting value. New York had an overall record of 23-31 straight up and 32-22 against the NBA betting odds.
New York’s 127-97 blowout win and cover over the Toronto Raptors on February 20 was their 7th win against the NBA betting odds in 10 games. It was also their 10th consecutive game that went over the total.
In home over/under action against the NBA betting odds New York was 16-12 over the total. New York defeated Indiana 122-113 on January 31 as 3.5-point road dogs as the game sailed over the total.
