NBA basketball bets on this series take into account its physical nature as the NBA betting public knows about the mutual dislike of these teams. NBA basketball bets on the Detroit Pistons have not been successful as of late as the Pistons have been in one the worst NBA betting stretches of any team this season.
Detroit lost 8 out of 10 NBA basketball bets before the all star break and has one of the worst pointspread marks in the league. Detroit had an overall record of 27-24 straight up but was just 20-31 with their NBA basketball bets. Detroit did have a slight profit on the road, however, as they went 13-11 on their NBA basketball bets as a visitor.
Detroit was 7-9 on NBA basketball bets as a dog. The Pistons offense has been nearly non-existent as of late as it ranked 28th while their defense has been what has kept them in the NBA betting playoff race as it ranked 6th. The Cleveland Cavaliers, on the other hand, have been one of the best teams to make NBA basketball bets with.
Cleveland had an overall record of 40-11 straight up and 33-18 on their NBA basketball bets. The Cavaliers won 19 out of their 25 NBA basketball bets as a host and were a powerful 29-14 as a chalk this season. The Cavaliers had a cool stretch before the all star break, however, as they won only 1 of their last 4 NBA basketball bets before the break.
Cleveland is a balanced team as they ranked 10th overall on offense and number one in all of pro basketball for defense. LeBron James is everything that he is hyped up to be and more.
He led the Cavaliers in scoring with an average of 28.5 points per game, assists with 7 per game, and rebounds with 7.5 per game. Oh, and lets not forget that he leads Cleveland in steals with nearly 2 per game!
