NBA basketball bets have been up and down on both the Philadelphia 76ers and Portland Trailblazers this NBA betting season. The Philadelphia 76ers had an overall record of 34-32 straight up and 30-34-2 on NBA basketball bets.
Luckily for Philadelphia, they play in the weak eastern conference and that has helped them maintain a 6th place standing and firm position for the post season despite their recent woes on NBA basketball bets. Philadelphia's main strength on NBA basketball bets has been their 11th ranked defense.
Their offense has not been strong at all as it ranked just 24th in the league. Philly's leading scorer Andre Iguodala was averaging just 18.1 points per game. The offense is going to have to improve significantly if Philadelphia is to have any sustained success on NBA basketball bets.
The Portland Trailblazers had an overall NBA betting record of 43-26 straight up and 35-33 on NBA basketball bets. Portland was fairly reliable at home on NBA basketball bets with a mark of 20-13 against the spread.
The Blazers put together a 3-game payoff streak from March 16-19 which followed a rough stretch for them on NBA basketball bets in which they lost 5 out of 7 games against the spread from March 4-15. Portland was close behind the Denver Nuggets for the top spot in the northwest division standings.
The Trailblazers have been a pretty good chalk on NBA basketball bets with a mark of 25-18 against the spread. Brandon Roy is the man that makes Portland go as he led the team in scoring with an average of 23.1 points per game. He also led the Blazers in assists.
Joel Przybilla has also had an impact on the glass as he led Portland in rebounds with an average of 8.5 per game.
