Bet on the NBAThose Grizzlies from the south, specifically Memphis, travel to the pacific northwest to face the not so blazing team in Portland, known as the Trail Blazers.
The matchup at the Rose Garden tips off at 10:00ET.
Memphis has had some struggles of its own of late. They hope to get a boost tonight, with newly acquired veteran Gilbert Arenas making his Grizzlies debut. Even with the much anticipated return of Zach Randolph, the team is just 1-2 since his return. They did beat the lowly Wizards, but also lost to two NBA bottom feeders, Toronto and Sacramento. They lost to the Kings Tuesday night, 119-110. Rudy Gay had 23 points in this one and the other Gasol brother, Marc, scored a double, double of 15 and 10.
Memphis enters this affair at 25-19 on the season. They are in a dogfight for the fourth spot in the Western Conference, with four other teams, separated by only a game and a half for fourth through eighth place. They are 2-4 in their last six, after reeling off 9 victories in the 10 games prior. Away from Elvis hometown, they are just 9-12.
Portland suffered a bad loss to Milwaukee 116-87 on Tuesday. LaMarcus Aldridge did his thing with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Wesley Matthews dropped in 21 of his own. In their past dozen games, the Trail Blazers are allowing almost 104 points per contest. They have not been victorious in the last 16 games where their opponent has scored more than 100.
The Grizzlies have scored in excess of 110 three of its last four, albeit two went to overtime, but still have lost all of them. The Trail Blazers are 21-25 for the year, 3.5 games out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the west, with three teams in between. They do have a decent 14-8 home mark, but are only 3-7 in their last 10.
For a wager of $110 to win $100, you will have to spot the Grizzlies one point as the road favorite. Another $110 will be needed to bet the over/under at 194.5. Check out our sportsbook page for links to all the odds for tonight's NBA and NCAA games.
