Bet on the NBANBA playoff basketball returns to the City of Brotherly Love tonight as the Boston Celtics continue their series versus the Philadelphia 76ers. The tip off is scheduled for 7:00ET and can be seen nationally on TNT as the first half of a doubleheader followed by game two of the Lakers and Thunder series from Oklahoma City.
Much love should be shown to the Sixers by their faithful after stealing home court advantage with a 82-81 win in Beantown on Monday. It was the second one point victory in the series after the Celtics were victorious on Saturday 92-91. For all the basketball and other sports news, click here to return to our sportsbook home page.
In the game one win, Rajon Rondo posted a triple double of 13 points, 12 rebounds and an amazing 17 assists to rally his team after they trailed by as many as 13 points in the second half. Kevin Garnett contributed 29 points as well. Evan Turner had a double, double of 16 points and 10 rebounds for the losers. Andre Igoudala led Philly in scoring with 19. Jrue Holiday continued to labor in the field shooting only 29 percent.
The Sixers seemed to be carrying over the energy they felt from their first round victory against top seed Chicago, albeit, while the Bulls were without Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah for much of it. Monday night in game two's basketball betting, the aforementioned Jrue Holiday ended his slump dating back to the Chicago series, by scoring a game best 18 points in this defensive battle ending with the Sixers ahead 82-81.
Most of what offense there was, came in the final quarter as neither team could score more than 58 points through the first three. A controversial offensive foul called on Kevin Garnett in the waning moments of the game sealed victory for the 76ers.
A key matchup tonight will be Andre Igoudala against Paul Pierce. Somewhat unexpectedly, Igoudala has gotten the best of Pierce in the first two contests and the series is now tied at one win apiece.
Philadelphia is a 2 point home favorite if you are willing to lay $110 to win $100. The same $110 will be required to bet the over / under of 172. See here for all our Celtics-76ers coverage.
