The Bulls are on a five-game road trip and are coming off of a blowout of the Washington Wizards Monday night. They are on top of the NBA Central Division and are looking to overtake the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference. In the game at Washington, Chicago's Derrick Rose put up 21 points, had 5 rebounds, and 9 nine assists in the 105-77 win.

Chicago's road record is worthy of respect, but not extremely impressive. At 15-13, the Bulls are not as strong on the road as they are at the United Center in Chicago. Currently in the middle of their road trip, the Bulls next take on the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat before heading home.

Atlanta, on the other hand, just finished up their own seven-game road trip. They are coming off of a loss in Denver to the Nuggets, 100-90. The Hawks have beaten the Bulls in seven of their last eight games, but tonight will be the first time the two teams have played so far during the 2010-2011 season. The Hawks are looking to keep ahead of the Magic in order to secure the home-court advantage in the playoffs.

For both teams, tonight's game will be a good barometer of where they stand in terms of the conference right now. While the Bulls have a chance at being the No. 1 seed in the East, they will have to do well on the road against solid teams like Atlanta. And for the Hawks, beating an elite team like the Bulls will give them an idea of what they can expect in a playoff series against the better teams in the NBA.
