Bet on the NBABasketball betting odds were going bust with Washington, Chicago, New Jersey, and Minnesota as November basketball betting action came to conclusion. Basketball betting odds handicappers are especially disappointed in Washington as the Wizards were touted to be the most improved team in basketball betting.

Washington had a record of 5-10 straight up and 4-11 with the basketball betting od ds.  The Wizards had hopes of contending for the basketball betting post season as Gilbert Arenas returned after missing last year due to injury. Arenas was off to a fine start with the NBA betting season as he led the Wizards in scoring with 20.1 points per game along with a team best 6.3 assists per game.  Arenas has been about the only offense Washington could muster with the basketball betting odds, however, as they ranked 25th in the NBA for team scoring.  Washington has regressed with the basketball betting odds as they were 2-8 against the spread from November 6-28.

The Chicago Bulls were sluggish out of the gate with the basketball betting odds as they had a record of 6-8 straight up but were a poor 4-10 against the spread.  Chicago also had offensive problems as they ranked 27th in the NBA for scoring.  The Bulls were getting clobbered with the basketball betting odds on the road with a mark of 2-7 against the spread.  Chicago was 2-7 with the basketball betting odds from November 7-26.

The New Jersey Nets were another huge disappointment with the basketball betting odds as they matched last year’s NFL Detroit Lions with a mark of 0-16 straight up.  The Nets covered the spread in just 5 of those games and ranked a disgraceful 30th in team scoring.  The Nets have had a lot of close calls and its wearing them down.

“There’s no doubt that it wears on you,” said head coach Lawrence Frank.  “The record is not indicative of the type of team we are.  Our guys know that, but we need to obviously show that with our play and our record.” Minnesota continues to degenerate into one of the worst franchises in pro sports with a mark of 1-15 straight up and 5-11 against the spread.  The Wolves covered just 1 game out of 10 from November 8-27 and were just 2-7 against the number at home!
