Golf betting fans will see Tiger Woods return for the Buick Open taking place July 30-August 2 from the Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Golf betting handicappers will have an outstanding Buick Open field to evaluate including last year’s winner Kenny Perry.  The purse is $5 million with a winning share of $900K.

Woods always gives any golf betting event that he enters instant status and credibility and his long time former relationship with the folks from Buick likely was a factor in his entering the Buick Open. Woods will not disappoint anyone this weekend with his golf betting appearance as he is the top ranked player in the Official World Golf Ranking.  Woods has entered only 10 golf betting events so far this year and has finished in the top 10 a total of 8 times.  He has 3 golf betting wins this year with the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard, The Memorial, and the AT&T National.  He is coming off an embarrassing golf betting performance in the British Open, however, as he failed to make the cut.

Defending Buick Open champion Perry enters this golf betting event ranking 4th in the Official World Golf Ranking.  Perry has played in 18 tournaments this year with 18 cuts made and 7 top 10 finishes.  He has 2 golf betting wins this year with the FBR Open and the Travelers Championship.  Unfortunately Perry is best known for the one that got away as he lost a playoff in The Masters after seemingly having the coveted Green Jacket fitted for him.

Jim Furyk ranked 10th in the Official World Golf Ranking and will make the tournament this week.  Furyk has competed in 15 tournaments this year with 13 cuts made and 7 top 10 finishes.  His best finish was 2nd at The Memorial.  Furyk has not won since 2007. Lucas Glover, who won this year’s US Open, is ranked 20th in the Official World Golf Ranking.  He has competed in 19 events this year with 15 cuts made and 4 top 10 finishes.  The US Open was his only win this year and just his 2nd ever for his career.
