Betting Types for Online Wagering at Bet Royal Online Sportsbook.

1. Straight

A straight wager is the most common wager, where you pick a single side or player to win. It could be the team to cover the spread or the game total to go over or under.

2. Parlay

A parlay is a single wager that links together anywhere from 2 to 12 individual plays. They can be comprised of a series of wagers on a team, over/under wagers, or any mixture of the two, you can also link many unrelated Propositions and Futures.

For a parlay to be a winning wager, every one of its individual plays must win. If any of the individual plays is not a winner, then the entire wager loses. If, however, one of the individual plays is a "push," then the wager reverts to the next amount of teams. For example, a three play would become a two play; a two play would become a straight wager, with corresponding reductions of the payoff.

US Football/Basketball/Ice Hockey

Any parlays consisting entirely of Totals and/or Spread wagers at the price of -110 pay out at the odds displayed in the table below.

All parlays, irrespective of wager type, are paid at true odds up to the capped amounts in the same table below.

3. Teasers

A teaser can only be played in American Football and Basketball or a combination of these two sports only. Teasers are minimum 2 selections and a maximum of 12. A teaser is 1 wager consisting of 2 or more sides or totals in which you are allowed to adjust the point spread in your favor. If there is any loss in a teaser, the entire teaser results in a loss. In the case of any of the selections resulting in a tie the selection will be treated as a 'push' and the teaser will revert to the next amount of teams, paying the odds of the new teaser i.e. a 4 team teaser with 1 tie will revert to a 3 team teaser on the 3 remaining selections.

Note: A tie on a teaser, reduces it to the next lowest payoff. Any loss in a two team teaser results in "a loss", whether the other team wins or loses. Any two team teaser with a win and (push or cancel) results in a tie and money is refunded. Any two team teaser with a combination of pushes or cancels results in monies being refunded as well. Any 10 point special Teaser placed having more than 1 total or 13 point special Teaser placed having more than 2 totals will be considered no action regardless of result.

Super Teasers

These "specialty" teasers are available on both US Football and Basketball. They always consist of 3 selections (Only 1 Total allowed per 10 point Teaser). Football and Basketball selections are allowed in the same Super Teaser. Our payout odds are: wager 12 to win 10 at the fixed points rate of Football 10 pts/Basketball 8 pts. In any Super Teaser, if any of the 3 selections is a tie, the whole Super Teaser wager is a loss. In any Super Teaser wager, if one or more of the games involving any selection is cancelled, the whole Super Teaser wager has no action.

Mega Teasers

These "specialty" teasers are available on US Football only. They always consist of 4 selections (only 2 totals allowed per 13 point teaser). Our payout odds are: wager 12 to win 10 at the fixed points rate of 13 pts. In any Mega Teaser, if any of the 4 selections is a tie, the whole Mega Teaser wager is a loss. In any mega Teaser, if one or more of the games involving any selection is cancelled, the whole Mega Teaser wager has no action.

4. If Wagers

An 'If bet’ links together two straight wagers but progressing to the second wager is dependent on the first one winning.

If the first wager wins, the second wager is placed; if the first wager loses, the second wager is not placed.

Also, you can place an 'If bet’ when you want to make two wagers but don't have enough money in your account to cover the second wager unless the first one wins.

5. Action Reverse

You may make any number of selections (maximum 5) in two reversed If wagers. The above If wager settlement rules apply, but the wagered amount unit will remain the same throughout the wager.

Reverses are if-wagers that simply work in reverse order. These plays are always Double-Action. Hypothetically, if someone placed a double action if-wager with Team A to if win or push and continue to Team B, then the client placed a second double action if-wager on Team B to if win or push and continue to Team A, the client has made a reverse.

It would have been much easier for the client to wager a 2-team reverse with Team A & B.

6. Round Robins

A Round Robin is the combination of all possible parlays with the chosen amount of teams. You can choose from 3 or more teams in a Round Robin, from which a combination of all designated parlays will be calculated.

The client may choose whether he wants the round robin to include only the 2-team parlay combinations, 2- and 3-team parlay combinations, 2,3. and 4-team parlay combinations, etc.The maximum risk in a Round Robin is calculated by multiplying the maximum number of parlays by the dollar amount you want for each parlay.
