Carlos Beltran is expected to return for the Cardinals today. Beltran has been out with a sore knee for the past three days. He leads the Cardinals with 13 home runs and 32 RBI. His 13 home runs are also the best in the National League and tied for second overall in the majors. Shortstop Rafael Furcal is second in the National League with a .370 average. It is the third best in the majors behind Josh Hamilton and David Wright. Outfielder Jon Jay is fifth with a .343 average.

Adam Wainwright is today's starter for the Cardinals. He is 2-4 with a 6.16 ERA. He had his second-shortest outing on May 12 when he gave up five runs in 4.1 innings to Atlanta.
