Bet on the MLBAdam Wainwright is looking to make a comeback with the 9-3 St. Louis Cardinals after he missed last year after undergoing Tommy John surgery. He has struggled in his first few games though. Wainwright will be looking to get back in form in a game with the 4-8 Cincinnati Reds at the Cardinals' Busch Stadium.

Adam Wainwright was the runner-up for the National League Cy Young Award in 2010. However, he suffered a substantial elbow injury and had to get it surgically repaired, thus forcing him to miss the 2011 season. He has only played in 8.2 innings in his two starts this year and has an 11.42 ERA. Much of this came from giving up eight runs in three innings to the Chicago Cubs last Friday.

Lance Berkman is currently day-to-day with the Cardinals. Berkman strained his calf yesterday. The first baseman is currently batting .348. David Freese is currently fifth in the National League with a .385 average. This includes 13 RBI and three home runs for the third baseman and reigning MVP of both the NLCS and the World Series.

Bronson Arroyo will start for the Cincinnati Reds. Arroyo did not get a decision in either of his first two games this year. He through 7.1 innings of shutout baseball with four strikeouts and a walk against Washington last Friday. He gave up only three hits in that time. He ended up with a no decision after the Nationals won that game 2-1.

The Reds' top batters have been struggling to start the season. The team has a combined batting average of only .211. Jay Bruce is stuck at .191 while Scott Rolen is at .171. Joey Votto is at .293 although he only has one home run. Votto has gotten at least twenty-five home runs in each of the last three seasons.

The Cardinals are favorites for the game with a -155 moneyline bet. The Reds have a +135 moneyline bet. The Cardinals are also favored by -1.5 runs with a +130 bet to beat that spread. The over/under for today's game is 7.5 runs for the game.
