It will be a homecoming for Reds manager Dusty Baker who once managed the Giants. His Reds were 97-65 in the 2012 regular season. The Reds had a 47-34 road mark, while the Giants were 48-33 on the shore of McCovey Bay.
The pitching probables for Saturday finds two ace righthanders going with Johnny Cueto (19-9, 2.78 ERA) climbing the hill for the Reds and Matt Cain (16-5, 2.79 ERA) for the Giants.
The regular season series between these two teams found the Reds up 4-3.
