Bet on the MLBThe Pittsburgh Pirates are traveling to Dodger Stadium for their first of seven games this year with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Dodgers were 6-2 against the Pirates last year. The Dodgers have a 3-1 record to start the season while the Pirates are 2-1. This will be the first game in the fiftieth season of the Dodgers at Chavez Ravine.
Clayton Kershaw will be starting for the Dodgers today. The reigning National League Cy Young Award winner had flu-like symptoms during his first start this past Thursday. Kershaw only pitched in three innings against San Diego. He gave up two hits and got three strikeouts in that short appearance. Kershaw, a lefty, had a 2.28 ERA and a 21-5 record with the Dodgers last year. He also won a Gold Glove award.

The Pirates have done well to start the season with a 2-1 series win over the Philadelphia Phillies. Andrew McCutchen went 4-11 during the series and had two stolen bases.
The Dodgers won their first three games against the San Diego Padres before losing on Sunday. Javy Guerra had two saves and did not give up a single hit in two innings. He has also given up only one walk. Meanwhile, Matt Kemp went 7-17 with two home runs and eight RBI during this four game series in San Diego.
The Dodgers are strong favorites in baseball betting to win in their opening game at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers have a -230 advantage on the moneyline while the Pirates are down to +200 on that bet. The game also uses a 6.5 over/under with an even money bet for anything under it and -120 for over bets.
